Conestoga Valley: Accessing Analytics

Option 1: Access analytics through the dashboard widgets

1. Open the dashboard for the Learning Walk form

2. Optional: Add a filter for a school, department, time period, etc.

3. Each widget displays the response data for all of the questions on the form. Clicking the title of any widget will take you to the analytics for the question's data

4. The analytics page displays the question's response data as a different view, and also allows users to add further filters or breakdowns.

Option 2: Create a custom analytics view

5. Click "Analytics"

6. A. Select a question/indicator to view:

Click "Property"

7. Click "Learning Walks"

8. Select the form

9. Click "Data"

10. Select any of the questions / indicators to view.

11. B. Compare the data across different schools, departments, etc.:

Click "Attribute"

12. If you select "People" β†’ this will allow you to choose a breakdown by school, teacher, observer, or departments

13. If you select "Data" β†’ this will allow you to choose a breakdown by grade, subject, entry time, etc.

14. Multiple breakdowns can be added

15. C. Set a specific time frame

Click "Time Period" to select from pre-set date filters

16. Click "Time Interval" to set a custom date range

17. D. Filter to only show data for specific schools, departments, etc.:

Click "Filters"

18. If you select "People" β†’ this will allow you to filter by school, teacher, observer, or departments

19. If you select "Data" β†’ this will allow you to filter by grade, subject, entry time, etc.
