Completing the SLO - Understanding the Teacher POV (Cherokee)

Step 1: TEACHER Completes Orientation

1. Teacher POV

Teacher opens Orientation task.

2. Teacher POV

Teacher fills out the informations and submits the task.

3. Teacher POV

The Orientation Task is completed.

STEP 2: TEACHER Completes SLO Document and Uploads Data

4. Teacher POV

Teacher opens task to complete their SLO Document.

5. Teacher POV

The SLO document asks about General information

6. Teacher POV

The SLO document asks about Student Population and Baseline Data.

7. Teacher POV

The SLO document asks about Priority Standard and Learning Objectives

8. Teacher POV

The SLO document asks about Instructional Strategies and Inclusive Learning Environments.

9. Teacher POV

Once the Teacher has completed all parts of the SLO Document, they will submit the task.

10. Teacher POV

Teacher opens the task to upload student data, pre-scores, and set targets.

11. Teacher POV

This task allows the teacher to attach a file of the data, or paste a link to the data. They can slo add comments.

12. Teacher POV

Once the Teacher has included their data, they will submit the task.

13. Teacher POV

The Teacher's SLO document and data are now completed with Approval Pending

Step 3: ADMIN Reviews and Approves the Teacher's SLO

14. Admin POV

After the Teacher submits their SLO document and data, the administrator will review their information.

Administrator opens the SLO Document Approval

15. Admin POV

The administrator can view all information that the teacher wrote in their slo document.

16. Admin POV

If the administrator is satisfied with the Teacher's SLO document, they will click "Approve".

17. Admin POV

Administrator opens the student data approval task.

18. Admin POV

The administrator can leave comments on any document they are reviewing.

19. Admin POV

If the administrator is not satisfied with the information provided by the teacher, they click "Needs Editing". This will notify the teacher to revise and re-submit their documents and/or data uploads. Then, the approval process will repeat.

20. Admin POV

Administrator will see that both Approval tasks have been completed.

Step 4: TEACHER & ADMIN Have SLO Conference

21. Admin POV

Administrator opens the SLO Preliminary Conference Task.

22. Teacher POV

Teacher opens the SLO Preliminary Conference Task.

23. Admin POV

Administrator completes their information. They will be able to see what the teacher writes as well.

24. Admin POV

Administrator submits the task.

25. Teacher POV

Teacher completes their information. They will be able to see all public information that the administrator writes.

26. Teacher POV

Teacher submits the task.

27. Admin & Teacher POV

The Preliminary tasks are completed and closed out.

Step 5: Repeat Steps 2, 3, & 4 in the Mid Year and End of Year

28. Teacher POV

Teacher will re-visit their SLO document and data in the mid-year, make any necessary edits to the document, and upload mid-year data. Teacher will submit their signature and answer reflection questions during the Mid-Course Conference.

29. Admin POV

Once the Teacher submits their mid-course SLO documents and data adjustments, the administrator will open, view, and approve/request editing of these materials. The will participate in the Mid-course conference with the teacher and provide their signature.

30. Teacher POV

Teacher will re-visit their SLO document and data at the end of the year to make any necessary edits to the document and upload summative data.

31. Admin POV

Once the Teacher submits their end of year SLO documents and data adjustments, the administrator will open, view, and approve/request editing of these materials.

Step 6: ADMIN & TEACHER complete the Summative Conference

32. Teacher POV

Teacher will meet with the Administrator and open the SLO Summative Conference Task

33. Teacher POV

Teacher will respond to the reflection questions.

The teacher will also be able to see the scores and comments from the Administrator.

34. Teacher POV

Once the teacher has completed all of the questions and signed, they will Submit the task.

35. Admin POV

Administrator will meet with the Teacher and open the SLO Summative Conference Task

36. Admin POV

The Administrator can view the teacher's responses to the reflection questions.

37. Admin POV

The Administrator will score the teacher on the SLO Rubric, provide closing feedback/comments, and sign the document.

38. Admin POV

**NOTE: Refresh the page in order to see the calculated scores.

39. Admin POV

Once the Teacher has been scored and the conference completed, the Administrator will submit the task.

40. Admin & Teacher POV

All tasks are completed; their SLO evaluation is completed.
