How to Create Comparison Charts in Analytics

Written by John Eger

2. Click "Analytics"

3. Click "Time Period"

4. Click "November 5, 2025"

Decide what time period you want to capture. You will use the calendar under "Custom" to identify the beginning date. Click on the first date.

5. When the calendar pops up, change the month using the arrow to identify the date you are looking for.

6. In this example, I am using September 8th. Once you choose the month click on the day.

7. Click the date on the right hand to select the end date you want to review

8. In this example I have selected October 8th, so that we are looking at one month's data.

9. Click "Property" to select the walkthrough form you want to review.

10. Click "Walkthroughs"

11. Click "See More" to get a dropdown list of all walkthroughs.

12. Select the walkthrough you want to review. In this example we are looking at "Student Engagement Look-Fors"

13. Scroll down the list to select the indicator you want to review. In this example, we are reviewing "It is evident that students are part of an active discussion."

14. Classroom Mosaic will populate a bar graph that will provide data for this chosen indicator. Take a screenshot of the graph to capture the data.

15. After taking your screenshot, click "Time Period" again to change the timeframe you are reviewing.

16. Follow the same process using the calendar to select the new time period. In this example, we are reviewing October 9- November 9

17. Classroom Mosaic will populate a graph for data during the identified time period. Take a screenshot of this graph. When you place them side-by-side, you can easily review performance from the two different time periods.
